5 New Orleans Saints Sophomores Who Must Step Up in 2015

The New Orleans Saints are indeed in the midst of a makeover after some shocking and gutsy moves that have taken place since their discouraging 7-9 season came to a close.  Hats off to the mettlesome Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis — they saw error and took bold action.

From parting ways with coaches to cutting veterans, to trading away key pieces to the offensive puzzle, the Black and Gold mean business.  Of course, that’s what the NFL is — a business.

Perhaps the most surprising move of the adolescent offseason was sending All-Pro tight end Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks, or was it dealing a young, emerging wideout in Kenny Stills to the Miami Dolphins?

But wait, we can’t forget about the team’s secession from the talents of RB Pierre Thomas and LB Curtis Lofton.  With old faces in new places and as others struggle, it’s time for the younger guys to come forth and materialize into valuable assets.  With that said, I give you five New Orleans Saints sophomores who must step up in 2015.
