The New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released their final injury reports heading into Sunday’s Week 17 regular season finale.
For the Saints, here’s how it shapes out:
OUT: T Terron Armstead (Neck)
QUESTIONABLE: NT John Jenkins (Abdomen)
PROBABLE: S Jamarca Sanford (Hamstring), Zach Strief (Neck)
Armstead and Jenkins did not practice on Friday, while Sanford and Strief were both limited.
For the Bucs, they have a much longer list of injuries:
DOUBTFUL: LB Mason Foster (Achilles)
QUESTIONABLE: CB Isaiah Frey (Ankle), S Dashon Goldson (Shoulder), WR Robert Herron (Hip), WR Solomon Patton (Foot), RB Bobby Rainey (Wrist)
Foster did not practice. Frey, Goldson, and Herron were limited participants, while Patton and Rainey were full participants.
As we reported earlier, running back Pierre Thomas and defensive tackle Akiem Hicks were placed on injured reserve. So, it will be interesting to see if wide receiver Brandon Coleman, who was recently promoted from the practice squad, will see action in the season finale.
Bryce Harris will once again start in Armstead’s absence.
We’ll keep an eye out for Jenkins’ status on Sunday, as it could mean the first time we see rookie Lawrence Virgil play this season.
