You might be wondering, ‘how could things get any worse for the New Orleans Saints?’ Well, here’s your answer.

Victor Howell of Cox Sports is reporting, and multiple sources confirm, that the Saints will be without the services of wide receiver Brandin Cooks for the next several weeks due to a broken thumb.

Ramon Antonio Vargas also gave a Rafael Bush update for you, as his injury will likely force him out of action for 4-6 weeks, rather than being a season-ending injury from first glance.

Cooks has been an absolute asset for the New Orleans Saints offense this season, and with him being down, it yields way for Nick Toon, Robert Meachem, and Joe Morgan to see more action.

It just keeps getting uglier as the injuries keep piling up with key members of the team going down. Somehow through all of this mess, the team is still in contention for the NFC South.
