Nothing surprising, but Jimmy Graham is active for the New Orleans Saints against the Detroit Lions. Initially, the All-Pro tight end was expected to miss 2-3 weeks, but after getting limited practice this week, head coach Sean Payton.
Through four games this season, Jimmy has been targeted 48 times for 34 receptions, 376 yards and three touchdowns. It’s great news for the Who Dat Nation considering the fact that Motown has produced the No. 1 overall defense so far, but Graham should not be rushed.
Like Mark Ingram, who is returning today after suffering a broken hand in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, Graham will likely be eased back into action. At least he should be. The sprained shoulder is apparently not a nagging problem like originally expected, but his presence is crucial.
Regardless, it’s time for the Black and Gold to get things going on the road. It’s now or never for Sean Payton and company if they wish to get some postseason action.
