Jimmy Graham will be a ‘Game-Time Decision’

The New Orleans Saints might have their superstar tight end playing on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, but we likely won’t know until the very end.

Jimmy Graham exited the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after an apparent shoulder injury. As for some clarification as to why?

Graham will be further evaluated during warm-ups on Sunday, and his status will be tracked all morning by the media, team, opposition, and hungry fantasy owners. The extent of Graham’s injury was originally thought as a two to three week time frame after the bye week, but obviously Graham is doing much better.

No one can deny the grit of Jimmy Graham, as he’s played through numerous injuries over his career. The team made a roster move to acquire veteran tight end Tom Crabtree, preparing to be without Graham’s services for an extended period of time. Even if Graham plays, we can’t say that he will have his ‘normal’ work load.

My only fear is that we are rushing Jimmy Graham back into action.
