This game should be interesting since both performed worse in their first game than many predicted. The Buccaneers had a tough time containing Panthers backup quarterback Derek Anderson and wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin.
The Rams should be happy with that because Shaun Hill may be able to find some success. Zac Stacy won’t have a good day as Tampa Bay is pretty good at defending the run with their front seven.
St. Louis will have success hurrying Josh McCown, despite Chris Long’s absence. Robert Quinn is an elite pass rusher; Kendall Langford and Michael Brockers should have an easier time with a banged up Logan Mankins.
St. Louis limited Adrian Peterson to 3.6 yards per carry, so the Bucs won’t have much success with a banged up Doug Martin. If McCown can stay upright, he’ll be able to take advantage of a weak secondary with Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans.
