Seven days left, Who Dat Nation! There’s a lot of buzz in the air with the Saints fixing up their practice squad roster, and know that so far, it looks good! We continue the Top 10 portion of our two-week series that focuses on my Top 15 players heading into the 2014 Saints’ season. Junior Galette is one of the most forgotten (or overlooked) undrafted rookie free agent success stories. Galette went undrafted in 2010, and through hard work and determination, made the Saints 53-man roster. Galette finally earned his starting role this season, and made the absolute most of it. Galette had a career year in sacks, finishing behind the likes of Robert Mathis, Robert Quinn, Greg Hardy, Mario Williams, and teammate Cam Jordan. Perhaps one of the most colorful and interactive players out there, Galette is certainly one of Who Dat Nation’s favorite.

2014 Outlook

Junior Galette can only hope to capitalize on his production from a season ago. This is actually a contract year for Galette, so you can fully expect him to come with everything he has and then some. Galette certainly has a huge change to produce double-digit sacks again, and I would be completely shocked if we see him snubbed from the Pro Bowl when he gets those sacks.
