The New Orleans Saints aren’t ranked nearly as high as you would think, but it could be a lot worse. If you felt compelled to do so, you could go all in on the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have the worst odds of winning Super Bowl XLIX at 250/1. At this point, it is hard to argue the odds associated with the Seattle Seahawks, last year’s Super Bowl Champions, and the Denver Broncos. However, in the same breath, we might question the odds on the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, and Green Bay Packers.
The New Orleans Saints are tied for fourth on the list for winning the NFC Conference currently:
Seattle Seahawks (17/4)
San Francisco 49ers (9/2)
Green Bay Packers (6/1)
Chicago Bears (15/2)
New Orleans Saints (15/2)
As for the NFC South, the Saints are firmly in command of the odds:
New Orleans Saints (5/7)
Carolina Panthers (9/2)
Atlanta Falcons (17/4)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11/2)
Overall, the Saints have a very positive outlook for the 2014 season. I’m sure most of Who Dat Nation will agree with me when I say that ‘flying under the radar’ and being ‘counted against’ aren’t the world’s worst things. I’d rather take it a game at a time!
