Pierre Warren (6’2″, 200) is a safety who was invited to attend the Saints rookie minicamp. Warren played college ball at Jacksonville State where he recorded 166 tackles, one sack, 8 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries in the last two years as a starter.
Warren ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69, 4.59 and 4.68 seconds and had a 35-inch vertical jump at his pro day, attended by 15 NFL teams.
He is pretty excited about this whole NFL thing, as you can see on his Twitter profile:
Strengths: size, long arms, good ball skills.
Weaknesses: poor numbers at his pro day, does not project as a core special-teams contributor.
