Ryan Grant, WR – Tulane

After getting the new Marques Colston earlier it’s time to find a new Lance Moore. Ryan Grant (6’0″, 199) is the hometown boy who can be a good slot receiver in the NFL. The Mark Neu/Ryan Griffin connections might play a role as well.

Here’s what Bleacher Report’s Ryan McCrystal says about Grant:

"(+) Has experience running the full route tree. (-) Routes are inconsistent and he tends to round them off, which he simply lacks the speed to get away with at the next level. (ovr) Grant was extremely productive for Tulane but questions about his size, speed and level of competition will determine where he lands in the NFL draft. He appears to lack the size and speed necessary to play on the outside, but does have the reliable hands and potential as a route runner to excel in the role of a slot receiver. His upside is clearly limited by his physical tools, but he’s shown enough to warrant a look late in the draft and could earn a roster spot if he shows the ability to contribute on special teams as well."
