Marques Colston is starting to show his age a bit and the Saints cut ties with slot receiver Lance Moore, so it’s not crazy to think that the Saints could add another piece to their offensive puzzle in the first round of this year’s draft. They are trending towards more of a balanced offense, so it’s not the most likely pick for them, but if a talented receiver like Benjamin somehow slides to them, they might have to consider it. Blessed with elite size and speed, Benjamin is raw but carries monstrous upside. Paired with Brees and the New Orleans system, Benjamin could open things up in a whole new way – especially with Jimmy Graham taking care of the intermediate game. This is a luxury pick, though, and the Saints are much more likely to add talent to their offense in the middle to late rounds.
