After two seasons of blocking and receiving Collins proved to be an excellent 3rd-and-short back in 2013, averaging 3.0 yds/att on a career-high 15 carries. Sean Payton trusts him so much he even called his number on a goal line dive – and he scored!
He does a good job in both pass protection and run support. He is a great asset to this team and one of the most underappreciated players in New Orleans’ pass-heavy attack. The more balanced the Saints offense will be the better for Collins, whose role will get bigger and bigger.
