#3 – Jahri Evans
2014 Salary Cap Figure: $11,000,000
2014 Base Salary: $6,800,000
Dead Money: $8,500,000
Potential Cap Savings: $2,500,000
Contracted Through: 2016

Jahri Evans was on a very impressive streak of playing in every single game for the New Orleans Saints since entering the league in 2006. However, injuries would bug Evans, and he’d end up missing two games. Despite that, Evans made the Pro Bowl for the fifth straight season.

2014 Outlook: Evans, like many of the other guys on this list, restructured his contract last season to save the Saints roughly $3M in salary cap space last season. He’ll turn 31 in August, and there’s not many reasons to suggest that Evans will not retire as a Saint. Evans wouldn’t mind having teammates Zach Strief and Brian de la Puente back, so maybe he’s open to getting more guaranteed money.

Final Decision: Proposed Restructure
