The New Orleans Saints issued their second injury report of the week today for the upcoming matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The names stay the same, but there’s two upgrades from yesterday.
RB Pierre Thomas (Chest)
DE Akiem Hicks (Ankle)
CB Keenan Lewis (Head/Neck)
T Terron Armstead (Knee)
G Jahri Evans (Ankle)
It’s great to see Pierre Thomas back in practice, even if it is limited. Thomas will likely go into Saturday listed as Questionable, but you have to start somewhere.
Jahri Evans was a full participant in practice today, as yesterday he was limited, which is a fantastic sign for the offensive line.
As for the opposition, the Seahawks received a huge shot in the arm today, as wide receiver Percy Harvin, who has only played in one game this season, stated he will play Saturday. Harvin can definitely stretch the field, and that’s just what Russell Wilson and company will hope for on Saturday.
The team is on their way to Seattle tonight, and we should get the final injury report tomorrow, heading into Saturday’s huge game. Stay tuned, and we’ll bring it to you as soon as we get it!
