Quick Hits & Uh?

Since 1996, Dallas is now 28-43 in the month of December.

Remember when the Chiefs couldn’t score over 30 points a game? Neither does anyone else. They’ve now put up 170 points up in the past four games (41, 28, 45, 56), which is good for a mere 42.5 points/game. You thought the Broncos were the only high powered scoring offense? Ha!

Speaking of the Chiefs, Jamaal Charles finished Sunday with only 20 rushing yards. However, no one really cares about that, as Charles caught 8 receptions for 195 yards, and scored 5 times! If you were a fantasy owner of Charles or Alex Smith, and weren’t in the playoffs last week, you might have cursed several thousand ways by now.

By the way, there have been several players that have tied the four receiving touchdown mark (Eric Decker & Marvin Jones did this previously this season), but only three players in NFL history have had five receiving touchdowns (Kellen Winslow – 1981, Jerry Rice – 1990, Bob Shaw – 1950)

The Ravens, Dolphins, and 49ers are playing some good football down the stretch. Baltimore & San Francisco have won four in a row, while the Dolphins have won three in a row. It definitely helps around this time of the season, and we’ll likely be referencing this if it further proves to help in the postseason.
