I’m not sure about you, but this game frustrated me more than Seattle. Nothing went right. This was basically just a complete nightmare. Clearly, the game affected the players too.

"“Frustrating. Disappointing. Embarrassed. Dominated. All of those,” linebacker Curtis Lofton said. “We know we have a good team, but you can’t just show up and play. We’ve got to be better on the road against Carolina.”"

If I’m Sean Payton, I’m ripping everyone apart. If I’m a captain of the Saints, I’m holding a meeting with just the players to get the issues addressed. It was unacceptable to play so poorly, and everyone can hear the chatter, but your words have to translate on the field. The media eats it up as it is, and we just keep giving them gasoline to throw onto the fire.

Now, the Saints are tasked with having to go on the road to face the Panthers. That’s right, the team that can still steal the division away from the Saints, and hasn’t forgotten what happened the last time.
