The Saints & Rams issued their final injury reports of the week today, and again, there’s little surprise.
DID NOT PRACTICE
TE Josh Hill (Hamstring)
S Rafael Bush (Ankle)
LB Keyunta Dawson (Calf)
DE Glenn Foster (Knee)
DT Brodrick Bunkley (Back)
T Terron Armstead (Nose)
All six of the Saints players are listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sunday
As for the Rams, it’s a similar story, but with CB Janoris Jenkins (Back) & WR Tavon Austin (Ankle) being Questionable despite not practicing this week is about all that they could hope for. RB Daryl Richardson (Thigh) & G Harvey Dahl (Knee) are also listed as questionable. CB Brandon McGee (Foot) is listed as Probable.
For the Saints, with Foster & Bunkley both going the distance in practice today, it is surely an encouraging sign to see them potentially play this Sunday. Bunkley hasn’t put up the flashiest stats this season, having only nine tackles on the season in nine games played, but that was also the case in Denver, when he helped the team’s defense stuff up the opposing run defense.
Glenn Foster has a great back story, being another one of those ‘undrafted rookies’ the Saints acquired. He’s also played in nine games this season, missing the first two, and then the last two. He has only six tackles this year, but the biggest difference that shows is the three sacks.
On a side note, it was once thought this season at separate times these two players would be lost for the year (Bunkley – Atlanta, Foster – @Atlanta). Maybe it’s fate that keeps them around.
We’ll get the inactive list around 1-1:30PM on Sunday. Look for similar names to be on it.
