Saints Rebound After Seattle By Handling the Panthers, Pick Up A Much Needed Victory to Improve to 10-3
This was the type of response that the Saints needed last night! After facing a bunch of scrutiny from the Monday Night loss in Seattle, the Saints founds themselves ‘backed into a corner’ with the red-hot Panthers coming to town, who were seeking to get their ninth straight victory of the season.
Things got off to a shaky start, but the Saints tightened up on defense, only surrendering two Graham Gano field goals. Once the Saints got in gear, and scored an early 2nd quarter touchdown to take the lead 7-6, they would never look back, scoring 31 unanswered points.
