Washington Redskins

This team is a terrible mess. The Redskins would finish with 190 total yards of offense, and RGIII went 17/27 for only 127 yards, was sacked four times, and intercepted once. If you add the sacks, it would have only been 90 yards passing for him. At 3-8, the Redskins are almost guaranteed to not make the postseason, and suddenly the ‘phenom’ from a year ago has vanished, as the Redskins can’t really beat anyone.

The Rest of the AFC West

With the Chargers winning, that means the rest of the AFC West loses? With them beating the Chargers, it would mean the Chiefs lose, but the Broncos blew a 24-0 halftime lead against the Patriots, and the Raiders would lose at home against the Titans 23-19.

New York Jets

Well, it was their week to win, but that never even remotely happened. The Jets looked horrid, and when they lose, they lose B-A-D. Geno Smith looked like a rookie that never saw experience before, and the Ravens would beat the Jets 19-3. The Jets are now 1-5 on the road, and by losing another conference matchup, it means their #6 seed in the AFC is now gone, and they are the #10 spot, just a week after being 5-5. Yikes.

Super Bowl? HA!

Atlanta was officially eliminated from the playoffs after this weekend’s matchups. At 2-9, they are the worst team in the NFC, and they are DEAD last in the NFL, and with the Texans losing their 9th straight to the Jaguars, they are right above them at #31. Remember when these were the two favorite teams to go to the Super Bowl this year? Yeah, to quote Rick James, ‘Cocaine’s a helluva drug’. Fall from grace doesn’t even cover it, just label it one hit wonder maybe?
