Mark Ingram, Remember Me?
Fans were just itching for something like this. It seemed like Mark Ingram was about to be booed out of New Orleans after he dropped an early pass from Drew Brees. Rather than get down, Ingram responded in a way that no one ever would have thought. Ingram had a career day, rushing 14 times for 145 yards. Ingram had 10.4 yards per carry, a touchdown, and rattled off a long of 34 yards. You could just see the passion that he was running with, and even drew a delay of game call after ripping off a strong run (pretty dumb call by the way).
We’re not ready to hop on the Ingram train again, at least not after one game, but this was very encouraging to see. Whether he continues his journey remains to be seen, but we only hope he does.
