I usually kick things off with some hot starts from the Saints’ foe but this week that is not an easy task. You can’t start the Jets defense for obvious reasons, you can’t start their quarterback (unless in your league interceptions are rewarded) and basically neither one of their receivers. So, who’s left? Chris Ivory? Bilal Powell? Well, Nick Folk is having a nice season but the matchup isn’t really good and projections speak for themselves…
Aaaaaaaand that’s it for the Jets, folks.

The new Brees-Stills connection is pretty strong, uh? Yes it does. Stills is emerging as one of Drew’s favourite targets and it’s time to pick him up, especially if you drafted Marques Colston (as I pointed out in a recent piece on Colston’s situation). Even with Jimmy Graham 100% healthy Stills is a great start this week.
It could be a tough week for Sproles and Thomas who will be facing one of the top run defenses in the league. I’m not confident with Sproles in particular, as his touches are diminishing in favor of #23.
