If you believe in anything superstitious, now is the time to grab it & use it.

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported that Graham is set to get an MRI:

"Graham, per a league source, is getting an MRI to determine the extent of the injury suffered during Sunday’s loss to the Patriots.  In the final year of his contract, Graham has retained the injury risk while the Saints have, as they did with Drew Brees two years ago, delayed getting a deal done for the kind of compensation Graham wants."

We have no idea how to interpret this at the moment. Maybe it’s just precautionary, maybe it’s serious. Whether you are a Saints fan, fantasy owner, or just a fan, you don’t hope or wish for Graham to be down for any amount of time whatsoever.

Graham was shut down against the Patriots on Sunday, being held without a single catch. The last time that happened was against the Pittsburgh Steelers in his rookie season. Graham was hurt on the debaucle play where the play clock was running down, Drew Brees was signaling for a timeout, and was never granted it. Graham would eventually return after a tape job, but would have to go to the locker room.

The only encouraging part of this all is that the Saints are on the bye week for Week 7, so if it’s minor, Graham would have time to recover accordingly. However, as the leading receiver in the NFL, and this being a contract year for Graham, it makes for an uneasy feeling in ‘The Big Easy’.

We’ll keep tabs on it, and report the latest as it unfolds!
