We knew all week that we were going to have to wait for this, and Sean Payton does this for a reason for sure.

The Saints are pretty banged up on this injury report….

Did Not Practice

DE Tyrunn Wallker (Knee), DT Brodrick Bunkley (Calf), RB Mark Ingram (Toe), DE Tom Johnson (Hamstring), S Roman Harper (Knee), WR Lance Moore (Hand), G Tim Lelito (Calf)

CB Jabari Greer (Back), S Isa Abdul-Quddus (Ankle), CB Chris Carr (Knee), G Jahri Evans (Hamstring)

Fully Practiced

OLB Martez Wilson (Elbow), LB Curtis Lofton (Knee), WR Marques Colston (Foot), OLB Junior Galette (Hamstring), T Zach Strief (Neck), DT Akiem Hicks (Knee), DE Glenn Foster (Ankle)

The fact that the Saints have an extra day to rest should hopefully get some of these guys back in the lineup for Monday Night. However, all players that have filled in for this season have done a nice job.

If Lance Moore isn’t able to go for any reason, I would fully anticipate that Nick Toon would be used in his absence. It’s only the first injury report, and there’s not a ton to draw from it, but the bye week isn’t until Week 7.

In Other News…Mark Ingram has denied Trade Rumors

"“No, you guys (media) came up with that,” Ingram said of trade rumors, via Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “I don’t know who came up with that. I’ve never said that at all. I never asked for it. Don’t want it. Like I said, New Orleans is home. I love teammates, love my coaches, love this organization. I’m very grateful to be part of this organization. It’s a class organization. . . .“Stuff comes from everywhere all of the time. People speculate things, assume things that may not be true. That’s OK. I know the truth and everybody in the organization knows the truth. Nothing like that ever came about. That’s all that matters. The air is clear here.”"
