Along with some help from the front seven, the Saints secondary allowed no touchdowns or significantly big plays, limited Carson Palmer to throwing for 18/35 and picked the ball off twice. Kenny Vaccaro who has been used in a variety of positions and roles by Rob Ryan came up with a pick and so did free agent acquisition corner back Keenan Lewis. Ryan’s use of stunts against the Cardinals offensive line wore them down to the nub and was the primary reason why the Cardinals were shut down in the second half of the game.
