The decision to go for it on 4th & Goal negated another Garrett Hartley field goal tally for last week, but Hartley still knocked through 3 out of 4, including the game winner, last week. Hartley is having a much better start to this season, so we only hope it continues.
On the other side of it all, Thomas Morstead had 4 punts aganst the Bucs, and all 4 went inside the opposing 20 (meaning no touchbacks). Should the offense reach any stalemates this week, Morstead will be called upon to pin the Cardinals back. You have to account for Patrick Peterson (PP7), so hopefully we don’t kick it to him, and give him an open field to work with.
We’ve still yet to see much from the return game this season, and you can say that’s good or bad, but with the growing amount of touchbacks these days, any opening drive that starts at the 20 will be welcomed with open arms.
