Saints Coaching Staff Make the Adjustments

I alluded to this before. This is the difference between Rob Ryan & Steve Spagnoulo, and then add the Sean Payton element.
Falcons 1st Half drives: Punt (teams traded that), Touchdown, Field Goal, Fumble, Punt, Punt
Falcons 2nd Half drives: Touchdown, Punt, Punt, Punt, Interception
The first several drives, the Saints defense looked confused. There were several missed assignments, and at times, Kenny Vaccaro showed a few signs of ‘rookie’ (however on that last 4th & Goal play, not even close). Sean Payton showed early on that he trusted his defense, which is huge for everyone involved on that side of the ball, and gambled on a 4th and short, which Ingram was stuffed on.
Rob Ryan adjusted the defensive play calling accordingly, and if you don’t agree, maybe you should re-watch the game.
