The man is back.

Not only is proper leadership back in the building, Payton will also help to return the Saints back to a normal offensive approach.

That means running the ball more and taking the pressure off Drew Brees. Last time the Saints met the Falcons, Brees threw five interceptions. Why? The offense needed him to do too much.

Payton’s return means the return of a serious running game with Darren Sproles and Mark Ingram. The locker room differences are huge, but Payton’s strategy will pay dividends against a Falcons team he owns in every way but financially.
