Thoughts from Heauxgue
Ravens at Broncos: Broncos.
The Ravens may have a retooled defense but nobody seems to know exactly how it will look. In any case, a Ray-Lewis-less team might not have the experience necessary to beat Peyton manning. Look for Rahim Moore to get his revenge and for the Broncos to pull out a win.
Falcons at Saints: Saints.
The Saints simply made better moves in the offseason than the Falcons. Even with a up-and-down look by the defense this preseason, one thing is for certain: the Saints offense is back and with a vengence.
Packers at 49ers: Packers.
The Packers went back to school to stop Colin Kaepernick and the rest of the NFL’s zone-read offense. This might be close, but the Packers will stop the 49ers.
Patriots at Bills: Patriots.
The Patriots will be the team to beat in the AFC East as long as Tom Brady is under center and Belichick is the coach. But, the Bills, potentially, are the first ever to start a undrafted rookie at quarterback. This will be a historic game, if not an obvious one.
Bengals at Bears: Bengals
The Bears have a new head coach and a new system in place. But, the Bengals are just too good on defense and are really starting to rise on offense. It may not be a landslide, but the Bengals won’t even make this close.
Upset: Raiders at Colts: Raiders
The Raiders are back up against a wall, and the season hasn’t even started. Despite an atrocious offensive line, Terrelle Pryor will start. He and Darren McFadden will run all over the Colts, despite a last ditch effort by Andrew Luck.
