Those of you who have followed me before remember these weekly articles churned out via 1stAnd5. So it’s only fitting to bring them back this season, and feature them on Who Dat Dish.

The last time the Saints faced the Falcons, it was a nightmare. The Falcons picked off Drew Brees 5 times on the night, snapped his consecutive touchdown streak, and escaped with a 23-13 win in Atlanta. The Falcons weren’t close to being impressive, as the ‘worst’ defense in history held players in check, only surrendering 159 passing yards to Matt Ryan, and blanking Roddy White. If anything, the Saints beat themselves with the costly turnovers.

As little time that has elapsed, those teams have completely changed.
