The decision was a toss up between the Patriots, but to think that we start the season against the hated divisional foe, the Falcons? You can potentially look at this as a ‘statement’ game. We thought the same last year coming off the Bounty Scandal, and RGIII ended up stealing the show. Just like last season, this will be an opener where all of the emotions will run at an all-time high. We will get all of our questions answered, so to speak. It won’t be a blowout, and I fully expect it to go down to the final drive. One thing is certain, we don’t ever want to get beat by Atlanta on our home turf.
Final Prediction: Saints 35, Falcons 31
