Ranking the Saints 2013 Games

16 of 18

#2 – New England (10/13), ‘Patriot Games’

Early matchups such as this typically don’t have so much at stake. The Saints will enter a bye following this game, and already will come off playing Chicago this previous week at Soldier Field. New England (12-4) will come off a road matchup against the Bengals. Assuming nothing crazy happens prior to this game, Brady will have a chance to tie Drew Brees for the consecutive passing touchdown record.

I’m sure no one has forgotten 2009, especially Tom Brady. Rob Ryan has typically solved for Brady in the past. Let’s just hope we don’t see a Brady to Tebow Touchdown, or I’ll throw up. It’s New England, and that’s all you need to really remember. I don’t like us playing the Bears and Patriots on the road in consecutive weeks, but I think we split these two matchups. So if we beat the Bears, we lose to the Pats, and vice versa. Since I chose a loss in Soldier, I’ll pick a win in Gillette.

Final Prediction:  Saints 28, Patriots 23
