#8 – Carolina (12/8), ‘Cam It Up’

Let’s just say being swept by the Panthers last season was not fun. In fact, it was the first time it happened since 2008. Carolina beat up on us last season (mainly Deangelo Williams), and we won’t even go into much more detail about the game itself last year, as it was extremely sickening to watch.
The Panthers win last season leapfrogged them to finish 2nd in the NFC South last season. It also marked the first losing season for the Saints since 2007. The Saints were also officially eliminated from playoff contention going into the game. Having said all of this, we’re extremely uncertain of what to expect, but this is where Rob Ryan potentially serves as the difference maker to help solve for the ‘mobile quarterback’. I would love nothing more than a blowout of the Panthers, but I tend to think it’s going to be another shootout.
Final Prediction: Saints 34, Panthers 28
