Call it a pipe dream or just wishful thinking but the New Orleans Saints are in need of a cornerback to compliment starter Jabari Greer. So far no one is stepping up to the plate and the team may not be able to grab a starter in the upcoming draft(the Saints only have a 1st round pick and then a 3rd round to start off). Although currently struggling with salary cap issues, the Saints might clear enough space to sign one of these players.

I know, I know…Talib has had off the field issues that garner a huge red flag. However the New England Patriots thought enough to trade the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in November of 2012 and take a chance on him.
If you thought that he wouldn’t make an impact in New England, witness the thrashing that the Patriots took in an air assault from the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game when Talib left with a hamstring injury.
Talib is a good cover corner that the Saints know well and has 201 tackles and 19 interceptions in his 5 year career. If the Patriots let him go then the Black and Gold need to take a chance on him as well.
