New Orleans Saints speak with some defensive players at Senior Bowl

After speaking with wide receiver Tavarres King the other day at the Senior Bowl, NFL Draft analyst Shane Hallam has reported that the New Orleans Saints were speaking to several defensive players on Tuesday at the Senior Bowl.

The players who were be given a once over was San Diego St. cornerback Leon McFadden and Southern Mississippi linebacker Jamie Collins.  Cornerback and linebacker are two areas the Saints could really stand to improve in.

McFadden, 5’10 and 190 pounds, has been having very good practices at the Senior Bowl so far and is currently projected to be a 4th round pick.  While at San Diego St. he had 188 tackles and eight interceptions.

Collins, 6’4 and 239 pounds, had an excellent college career with 313 tackles, 45 of those
