With the Senior Bowl less than a week away, NFL teams are getting to know some potential prospects that could fall to them in either the upcoming NFL Draft or if they fly under the radar, could be snagged as an undrafted free agent.

Shane Hallam who is a draft analyst for, tweeted a picture yesterday of a scout for the New Orleans Saints sitting and talking with University of Georgia wide receiver Tavarres King.

For fans scratching the heads or thinking that the Saints need to be talking with a defensive player instead, just relax.  The scouts on any NFL team wouldn’t be doing their job if they weren’t looking at all the merchandise.

King at 6’1 and 200 pounds was pretty productive with his time as a Bulldog.  For his college career he had 136 receptions for 2,602 yards and 21 touchdowns.  His senior year was the most impressive with 42 receptions for 950 yards, averaging 22.5 yards per reception, and 9 touchdowns.

On and, King is currently projected as a 5th found pick in the upcoming draft which is where the Saints excel at in finding offensive hidden gems.
