New Orleans Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt gave the injury report for Wednesday and Thursday’s practice which aren’t seeing fullback Jed Collins in a good position to play Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Collins has been listed as not practicing on both days due to a toe and ankle injury.  Collins was injured on the opening kickoff last Sunday and was down on the field for several minutes.  He did return later in the opening series after getting some attention from the training staff.

Offensive tackle Zach Strief didn’t practice Wednesday but was limited on Thursday with a knee injury.  Running back Chris Ivory was limited on both days with a hamstring injury.  Both players weren’t active last Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to their injuries.

Cornerback Patrick Robinson was limited as well on both days because of a groin injury and running back Pierre Thomas was an alarming addition with a knee injury on Thursday.

Vitt did say though that he expects the players who were limited to have a “real good chance” of playing against the Cowboys.
