Although the New Orleans Saints chances of making the playoffs look to be done there is still a slim, slim chance that they could find themselves trying to find a slot in the race.

In order for this to happen, Channel 4 WWL-TV in New Orleans displayed a scenario that could happen.  Here is the last road to the Saints playoffs mapped out with what needs to happen.

First the Saints(5-8) will obviously have to win out the rest of their final three games.  They are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers(6-7), Dallas Cowboys(7-6), and Carolina Panthers(4-9).

The Washington Redskins(7-6) would then have to win at least 2 games.  Their final opponents are the Cleveland Browns(5-8), Philadelphia Eagles(4-10), and Dallas Cowboys(7-6).

The New York Giants(8-5) will have to lose their final 3 games which are against the Atlanta Falcons(11-2), Baltimore Ravens(9-4), and Philadelphia Eagles(4-10).

The Dallas Cowboys(7-6) will need to lose 2 games which for the Saints would be the game against them as well as the Redskins game.  Their other game is today against the Pittsburgh Steelers(7-6).

The Chicago Bears(8-5) will need to lose their final 3 games which are against the Green Bay Packers(9-4), Arizona Cardinals(4-9), and Detroit Lions(4-9).

The Minnesota Vikings(7-6) would need to lose just two games of their final three which are against the St. Louis Rams(6-6), Houston Texans(11-2), and Green Bay Packers(9-4).

The St. Louis Rams(6-6) would need to lose at least two of their final three games which are against the Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers(6-7), and Seattle Seahawks(8-5).

The shaky playoff domino’s will fall today in the Saints playoff hopes with the Saints playing the Buccaneers today at 12:00 p.m CST.  The others to watch today as well are Vikings vs. Rams(12:00 p.m. CST), Redskins vs. Browns(12:00 p.m. CST), Packers vs. Bears(12:00 p.m), Giants vs. Falcons(12:00 p.m.), and Steelers vs. Cowboys(3:25 p.m. CST)

The teams to root for along with a Saints win are:  Redskins, Vikings, Packers, Falcons, and Steelers.
