While the New Orleans Saints are dealing with their own bad luck and wide receiver merry-go-round, the NY Jets are having their string of issues with the season so far.
First there was the loss of their lockdown cornerback Darrelle Revis with an ACL injury. Then there was an embarrassing 34-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers at home.
To add insult to injury, the Jets have lost their star wide receiver Santonio Holmes for the season. Holmes was injured during the game and it was revealed to be a Lisfranc fracture in his foot. He was officially placed on injured reserve today.
To try to help compensate for Holmes, the Jets ended up signing free agent wide receiver Jason Hill. Hill had also worked out for the Saints recently but they opted to bring back Greg Camarillo who they have signed and released several times since preseason.
