Defensive ends the New Orleans Saints should look at in the 2012 NFL Draft

Chandler Jones(Syracuse):  Jones is an interesting prospect.  Although he missed five games due to a knee injury this season, he decided to leave before his senior year and has been moving up the draft rankings.

He finished his final season voted onto the 2011 All-Big East Conference First Team and registered 39 tackles with 7.5 for a loss, one interception, and 4.5 sacks.  With five games missed, these are still good numbers.

Jones has long arms, speed, and a sound tackler.  While defensive end Quinton Coples is being compared to Chicago Bears defensive end Julius Peppers, Jones is drawing comparisons to New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.

At first, Jones was projected as a fourth or fifth round draft pick.  As of late, he is being projected to go as a second or third round pick which could fall right into the Saints category.
