Atlanta Falcons vs. Houston Texans:  The Falcons (7-4) will travel to face the Texans (8-3) in an important game for Atlanta.  With one game seperating them from the Saints, they don’t want to stumble now.  Although the Texans are ahead in their division, the Tennessee Titans aren’t far beind at 6-5.

The Falcons offense could be missing WR Julio Jones who is listed as questionable as well as RB Michael Turner who is also listed as questionable.  Their defense will have to compensate for the loss of standout CB Brent Grimes who will be out for several weeks because of knee surgery.

Of course, it’s unfortunate for the Texans because they are now on their third quarterback, T.J. Yates.  While Yates will be facing a tough Facons defense, he should be able to rely on RB Arian Foster and WR Andre Johnson.  Speaking of defense, the Texans have what I consider to be a great one and should prove a good test for Atlanta.

My pick for the winner:  Houston Texans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers:  The Bucs (4-7) play host to the Panthers(3-8) and will try to keep their season from being an utter disappointment.  The Bucs are seeing the playoffs slip from their grip and the Panthers may make it worse.
