Of course, the nightmare started with Michael Vick and his hard luck with injuries.  In the past several weeks, Vick has dealt with a concussion in the game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 and what was thought to be a broken hand last week against the NY Giants.

Vick was obviously upset in a press conference after today’s game.  Vick responded with what at first I thought would be a, “We talking about practice, man?” ala Alan Iverson.  Vick responded bluntly with, “Frustrated!”

Asoumgha was expected to lockdown the secondary along with Rodgers-Cromartie and CB Asante Samuel.  However, he has instead had to endure critics who question his “lockdown” ability and railed for missing a sure tackle on Giants WR Victor Cruz that resulted in a touchdown.

Head Coach Andy Reid was also visibly shaken at the post-game press conference today.  His voice tense and shakey, he accepted full responsibility for the team’s loss.

The Eagles will be on the road next at the Buffalo Bills who are 3-1 after a loss today to the Cincinnati Bengals.  Although the Bills lost today they are confident and on a hot streak.  The Eagles can’t sleep on the Bills if they want to keep the dream alive and win a championship.
