Tampa Bay Buccaneers:  Tampa Bay is currently riding high in the NFC South at first place.  They really will be content this week to go on the road against the ailing Indianapolis Colts on Monday night.

The Buccaneers drew first blood in the NFC South with their victory over the Atlanta Falcons.  There’s probably going to be more spilled when they visit Lucas Oil Stadium in primetime.  And it looks to be the Colts that will be bleeding.

Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman is looking like a pro since the last couple of seasons and continues to improve.  He’s the main reason why I picked Tampa Bay as the victor last week.

The Buccaneers defense is also on the rise and straight up dominated the Falcons offensive line last week.  I believe that trend will continue against the Colts Monday night.

The Colts who were a force to be reckoned with, have lost their leader in QB Peyton Manning.  QB Kerry Collins is apparently not the answer is is questionable to play because of a concussion.

The Colts wide receiver corps looks like they are playing with zero heart and are constanly dropping passes that should be caught.  WR Reggie Wayne looks as if he is disgusted after every play as is TE Dallas Clark.

The Colts have also been dealt a recent blow when LB Gary Brackett and S Melvin Bullitt were placed on Injured Reserve Wednesday.  The defense needs to rally back now or things will continue to go south. Or should I say go NFC South?

My pick for the winner of this game:  Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
