Eventhough teams and players have been forbidden to contact each other during the lockout, news has begun to trickle in that some are telling players to report to team facilities.

In a story first reported by Pro Football Talk, Green Bay Packers players have been told to arrive at the team facility for a meeting on Saturday with doors being opened on Friday.

Jason Wilde of ESPN Milwaukee reported on Monday that his two club sources confirmed that players should be ready for a meeting on Saturday.  This seems pretty logical since the lockout is thought to be over by Thursday.

In another report by Bustedcoverage.com, Carolina Panthers Tight End Jeremy Shockey said he’s also been told to “report to Charlotte for a three-day camp from the 22nd through 25th”.

Shockey also stated that he received a text from fellow players about the news while he was on a diving trip in the Florida Keys.  He was quoted as saying, “Obviously the details have to be completed, but this deal is done”.
