With most training camps set to begin in around three weeks and deadlines for the Hall of Fame Game and London Game closing in, hopefully the two sides can agree.

NFL analyst Michael Lombardi was on NFL Network at the beginning of the week and gave a timetable that is realistic, but no room for error.

He stated that if a deal can get done by July 15 and the lockout ends, free agents could start signing on July 16.  Then a league meeting would have to occur to explain what is going to happen with the new agreement.

Organized Training Activities would then start a mere week before training camp starts.  It’s a tight squeeze but better than nothing at all.  Come on guys don’t quit now!
