Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis says he has mixed feeling about it, while he agree’s with the court’s decision.

"“On the one hand, I think it’s right and a good thing that the NFL won their case. It upholds the right of the league to have policies that affect all the clubs equally. On the other side of that decision is means that Will Smith will be suspended for 4 game in 2011, I don’t like that. That hurts our team. But that’s just part of the game and something we’ll have to deal with.”"

Loomis said he will be prepared for all possible scenarios.

"“I’m not going to make any assumptions,” Loomis said. “We’ve got a lot of time. At some point, we’ll get some direction from the league, and we’ll go from there.”"

League spokesman Greg Aiello issued the following statement:

"“We are pleased that the Minnesota Court of Appeals, like all other federal and state courts to hear the matter, has unanimously upheld the structure and operation of the NFL’s collectively bargained Policy on Anabolic Steroids and Related Substances. Today’s opinion confirms that the testing program did not violate Minnesota state law and vindicates the policy and procedures of the program. We are in the process of reviewing the decision and determining our next steps.”"
