Deuce Takes Part In Minicamp

RB Deuce McAllister (knee) took part in about 30 percent of the repetitions today. CB Mike McKenzie (knee), S Josh Bullocks (knee), and rookie DT DeMario Pressley (foot) did not participate. DE Will Smith took part as expected as well.

"“I wanted to be team guy and be here for my teammates,” said Smith, who faced fines if he was not present for the minicamp. “My main goal is to win a Super Bowl this year. I wanted to be here and help the team out.”"

It’s good to hear Deuce is back in action. The team sorely missed him when he went down last season and his veteran presence and leadership will be needed. You can only hope the team can win one for him as he has given the organization his all during his stay here and is very well-liked by his peers and community.

Also, you have to love Will Smith’s attitude. He could easily be at home holding out for the pay day that he’s deserving of but his main goal is the Super Bowl. The talent is there this year, fellas. It’s up to them to get the job done.
