WHO DAT DISH STAFF
John Hendrix – Managing Editor/Lead Writer
John spends the majority of his time in the bank, working as a Personal Banker. He has taken a great interest in furthering his writing, and started blogging on the New Orleans Saints & other NFL topics back in July 2012. He resides in Slidell, LA – which is only a short drive away from New Orleans. John grew up a sports fan, and has followed the NFL since the age of 5. He considers himself a walking encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to the NFL History. John’s path with Who Dat Dish started out as a contributing writer, and was promoted as a Co-Managing Editor just several months later. He primarily handles the social media aspect of WDD. He’s anxious to see where his writing abilities may take him.
He is happily married to his beautiful wife, Stephanie, since October 2011, and just had his first child (a son) in December of 2013. He previously wrote independently for 1st & 5, and has dedicated a great deal of time covering the New Orleans Saints. He also is an avid LSU Tigers Football fan and Detroit Red Wings fan.
Mark Laxman – Contributing Writer
Mark is a born and raised Who Dat who still lives in the actual city of New Orleans. He is a graduate of the School of Business at the University of New Orleans. He has been writing since age two and learned cursive in the second grade (that’s two years before they actually teach it. Think about that for a second. Awesome writer, huh?) He started writing about the Saints in 2012 when The Shield and the media fabricated the bounty scandal to cover their ass and generate clicks, respectively, by creating his own profanity-laden blog called Who Dat IndigNation to tell the sides of the story that nobody outside of Saints fans were being told. Later that year he started writing for Who Dat Dish and the rest is history.
He will be embarking on a nationwide tour of appreciation this Spring for a piece he wrote titled “The Atlanta Falcons Suck More Than Anyone Could Possibly Have Imagined and It’s Sweeter Than We Dreamed It Would Be” and will be accepting invitations to sleep on couches in cities all across the country.
Federico Ferrari – Contributing Writer
Federico is a student of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Udine (Italy). He has been a staff member for WDD since May 2013, and previously reported Saints news for italian fans. He likes writing and playing the guitar, a lot. When he discovered NFL football, he immediately fell in love with the New Orleans Saints.
