New Orleans Saints add long snapper Chris Highland to training camp roster

According to reports, the New Orleans Saints have filled a roster vacancy by adding long snapper Chris Highland, who tried out for the team at rookie minicamp.

A product of Illinois State, Highland was named a First-team All American as a long snapper in 2014 by The Associated Press.

The New Orleans Saints now have two very interesting positional battles between Chris Highland and veteran Justin Drescher at long snapper, and Dustin Hopkins and Zach Hocker at kicker.
