Overview

Kenny Vaccaro was a ‘breath of fresh air’ for the New Orleans Saints in 2014. The first round Saints’ selection of the 2013 draft turned out to be much better than anyone could have hoped. Vaccaro’s presence was felt immediately, as he was responsible for tipping the potential game winning touchdown pass from Matt Ryan to Tony Gonzalez in Week One. Though his season ended in Week 16 against the Panthers with an ankle injury, Vaccaro showed everyone that he was well worth a first round pick, and then some.

2014 Outlook

Kenny Vaccaro performed extremely well in the preseason, and looks to be completely healthy. Vaccaro has been around the ball a lot, and could benefit the most with the addition of free agent safety, Jairus Byrd. Vaccaro should be a huge punishment for any opposing players, and should be a crucial piece in helping Rob Ryan’s defense force turnovers this season. By the way, stick to the field Kenny, see his acting career on the ‘Take 5 Oil Change‘ commercial.
