Various news reports are the Saints are trying out new players at Greenbrier. It is more difficult to transport players to Greenbrier than to New Orleans given Greenbrier’s distance from large airport hubs.
The preseason game with the Rams on Friday will be a time for each player to showcase his talents, and the lower number of available players means the players who do see action will be given ample opportunity to shine and make an impression, if not with the Saints, then perhaps another team.
